The makeover is complete and I present to you my new look! I feel like it's the end of Grease when Sandy gets rid of those little curled under bangs and gets a perm and suddenly she's not in the 50s anymore, but the late 70s wearing spandex pants. What do you think? How 'bout that yard art?

but i don't like having to click to read more. i loved being able to read the whole post all at once.
Aw. I will miss the old template, honestly. It was so comfortable to read! Your new look is good, though. The only beef I have is with the "read more" buttons. No, I just want to read the whole post. In one go. And then maybe I will scroll down and read the previous posts again because they are so awesome, and doing that is easiest without all the fiddly clicking around.
But srsly, looks nice.
I really like the flamingos and the green grass. But I don't like the click to read more too. And the ads seem more prominent in this design though you had them in the old design too.
I didn't think your old look was that bad, but looking at this I can see the vast improvement! I like the "read more" buttons, esp. since they go to the full entry with comments at the bottom. And the smaller font works for me.

Well.....I liked the old look just fine, and the new look is okay, but there are a lot of 'features' on the new page that are apparently blocked at my job. No 'read more' buttons at all, but I can get the whole post if I click on the title. Meanwhile, there are a couple of weird white boxes on the main page that are apparently blocked something-or-others. *sigh* Well, I'm glad others like it. Enjoy.
Delurking to say congrats - although unfortunately I'm with Jane and I can't see much of anything but the text on my computer at work. I'll definitely check it out from home to get the full effect - I haven't been able to see your flamingos yet (the only pics that come through are the ads).
Cute! Now you just need a picture of yourself, throwing a cigarette down & a talk bubble that says "Tell me about it, Stud".
