Editing
This is kind of a test of the Wide Lawns Broadcast System.
Oh Good Lord. I just took a big step here and edited my template and converted it to the new thing. This is causing me a major anxiety attack in preparation for the addition of ads. I completely messed up my whole deal, had to get a whole new site meter and then it wasn't working. I swear, I am the biggest Luddite I have ever met. Is everything working? Does it look normal to you all? Did I screw it up? Am I freaking out over nothing? Should I just go get a cup of coffee and shut the hell up?
I repeat, this is only a test.

It looks good! I prefer the old font better- it was easier to read.
I'm getting everything okay out here in Phoenix ;-)
I didn't change the font! Uh oh. The font looks exactly the same to me. I didn't make any changes on the template at all. I just upgraded to the new layouts thing so I could add the ads and the followers thing. I thought it would make it easier for people to follow me this way.
It looks the same to me - font wise.
I can see the Followers now (hello me)but that is the only thing so far that is new, at this end.
How do you install a site meter? I've been trying and so far, nada.
I only get a blank under the Followers - I want to see my name on there ;-) Will it cost? I'm cool with that - just let me know. I have other blogs that I read (not as much as yours) that have a tip jar and I don't have a problem shooting over a few bucks a month for the pleasure of their writing.
Mine showed up just now in Chinese!
Mel in Scottsdale
I can see you Jean!
Mel you're teasing me right?
Also, I'm definitely not adding a tip jar. I'd feel awful, like I was panhandling or something and I'm not that poor. It would just feel wrong. I don't feel the same about ads because I'd feel like I was providing a service and working for a company and because it wouldn't cost my readers anything, just some big nameless company. I'd like to consider myself an entrepreneur instead of a charity case. But thanks to all the people who said they'd give me a few dollars. I'm stunned by you alls' generosity and it's so appreciated.
Everything looks great to me! Good job! =D
I looked at the folks following this blog. Am I the only dude in the list?
You'll probably want to put your "About Me" on /top/ of the followers, as a new reader is going to be trying to figure out who they're reading than who's following them. To do that, just go to your dashboard, click on the "Layout" link under your blog's name, then click on the little square that represents the "About Me" on the right of your page and drag it to the top of the list of gadgets/widgets/boxes/whatever.
If you actually prefer it this way, then feel free to ignore my previous comments; other than that, I think it looks pretty good. ^_^
Marilyn (From Yuma--daaaayng, we've got a lot of kids from Arizona here, don't we? Well, I guess now you know that when you go on tour for your bestselling novel/memoir, you'll have a ready-made fanbase in Arizona...)
Looks good here in MI!
So maybe I failed the test.
Am I supposed to sign up somewhere?
I can see a different font, too...and I liked the old better, as well!
It looks good. And I'm so glad you added the "follower" widget. It makes my life so much easier!!
the font is bigger
The font is different to me. hmm.
the font may be different to some and not to others because of different browsers (firefox 2, firefox 3, IE6, IE7, IE*, safari, etc)
