Learn From My Mistakes
Me: Wow!! I never knew prune juice tasted so good! Yum, this prune juice is just absolutely delicious. I LOVE THIS PRUNE JUICE! Let me get another glass. Why isn't this more popular? This stuff is great! I'm shocked that more people aren't drinking it. I think I need a THIRD glass of prune juice!

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic...but I enjoy prune juice - I LOVE prunes (but maybe not what eating too many does)
The post title here is key. I wasn't being sarcastic. I really did drink three glasses in absolute bliss over how good it was. And then, about fifteen minutes later...serious regret.
ahh - I should pay more attention - and this wasn't your longest post ever was it?
They aren't kidding about what prunes can do
lmao. Yep. You did not live and learn. :) Been there as well. Maybe twice bitten, 4x shy?
Hahaha YIKES. Totally something I would do!
*snort*
There's a reason prune juice is so wildly popular among the geriatric set.
;)
Sorry but too funny! Oh, goodness. The after effects of things I love to eat are terrible too. I feel your pain.
Like Eve and that damn apple
I once drank a half of a bottle of prune juice - I'd had surgery and was on major pain meds and I needed something to get things going so to speak. I was not a fan of the taste or of the consistency. I guess it was too thick for my tastes. blech.
Yeah, it works....really, really well.
That much of ANY juice would have sent me to the nearest restroom in just a few short minutes. Weren't you just saying you needed a colon cleanse the other day?
Truly, a drink fit for Klingon warriors!
(And now I must hide my head in shame for displaying that bit of Star Trek knowledge.) *slinks away*
oh. ouch! Never was a fan of the prune juice. You should probably re-hydrate with plenty of nice clean water now.
OH NO. Three glasses? In a row?
Well, at least now you know you like it in case you ever really need it :)
The stuff is just too sweet for me, but then again, I haven't tasted it in years.
I absolutely LOVE stewed prunes spooned over plain yogurt. I fell in love with this breakfast in Italy, as that combo appears at most hotel breakfast buffets.
I forgot all about it! Stewed prunes will be added to my shopping list.
Oh oh.. I'll bet Canela ran for shelter again. ;)
I lift my glass to you and your prune juice. Hilarious. Why is poopy so funny?
Love prunes, love plums more, but eating five servings of tabouli does to me what the juice did to you. And I never seem to learn.
BBAAAAA HA HA HA!!
Did you have a MOVING EXPERIENCE with the PRUNE JUICE??
It could have been worse... like having that many glasses of prune juice on an airplane :)
This will be one of those lessons that I won't insist on learning the hard way.
I've done some really dumb things in my lifetime and this is probably something I would do at one point in time...so, thank you, in advance, for saving me from myself.
My daughter learned this lesson last week, too, only with "dried plums" (they don't call them prunes anymore; I guess the marketing guys got hold of the packaging)... she ate like 15 of them at one sitting. I told her to "try them, you might like them." She loved them. I forgot to tell her to "love them" in moderation... Poor kid.
Goodness, I made the same mistake only a week ago. Not good times.
Can't resist:
Add vodka for a "Piledriver"
Yes, it is now officially dried plum juice. Have to be advertisingly correct.
There seems to be a theme today amongst the blogs I am reading.
Poop. I love it.
This sounds like something I would do. Or have done, just with other foods.
Ha. Thank you. Considering myself schooled. I had to learn about apple juice the same, hard way although THAT just involved a lot of pain.
Heh. "Everybody poops!" ;)
