Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Save some leftovers for your Canadian readers.. just not the bad-ass ones. :)
Happy Turkey day to you too
For a variety of ridiculous sibling craziness on both sides, The Man, Small Child, and I are "the family on the outs" this TG. It's been a delightful day! A duckling roasts in the oven, herb-bacon-cornbread stuffing is baking, and there's not a nasty-assed recipe to be found. Those are all 2 miles away, at my mom's, where my sister can't possibly top her last year's contribution: a blueberry pie from WalMart, proudly bearing a clearance tag, with a watery puddle of dissolved sugar on top.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! I had a really yummy dinner- all the traditional stuff, predictable in some ways, but excellently done. In the company of friends, so it could have been crap and I would have enjoyed it, but having good company *and* good food?
Fantastic.
hi..ive been reading your blog for a good while now, and i just wanted to say...yesterday my ma made one of those freakin casseroles and she put crushed butterfly crackers on top..made me think of you and laugh in real life. luv ya muchly.
Happy Thanksgiving! We were lucky to not have nasty-assed food. It was all incredible - and gluten free. My husband is a good cook and my GF stuffing and pie came out really good.
Hey, is Mommom Jewel okay? I woke up last night around 10:20pm and her name (which I know is not real) popped into my head, which I thought was really strange. I'm sure it's nothing.
