This isn't a very good picture, but there are so few pictures of me as a child or a baby that this is mostly all I have. That's my mom when she was 18, if you've all ever wondered what she looks like. Exactly 35 years later I look a lot different, but I still wear a lot of red. I'm feeling extremely old today. And also glad that paneling went out of style.

Happy birthday! It's my birthday, too. I'm 34. While I don't feel old, I am disappointed that hardly anybody seems to have remembered.

Just so you know, if you go through the old box of pictures there are 100s of you at almost any age. I also have your baby book with some of you very little like the one you posted. Also that little outfit you have on was a Santa suit for Christmas. You were a little over a month old. You can see I still have a fat stomach. Still have that damn thing today but as I look back it was well worth it. Happy Birthday! You were my pride and joy back then, practically the only reason I lived. Nothing changed about that either. I am proud of you, proud of all of your accomplishments proud you are now an adult with a heart, a person that cares and can feel. In todays society that is amazing! I love you! Mommy

Happy birthday!

I found your blog almost a year ago, when I was looking for info about the CSA in South Florida. I was instantly hooked, although I've never commented to let you know how great I think you are (I'm lurky that way...) So here goes: you are totally, awesomely, great! You write like a superstar, and I can't wait to read your memoir in book form.

I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

I hope you have a happy birthday and that you give yourself a nice present because sometimes you can't wait for others to give you what you need.

Happy birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day (like birthdays should always be) and many, many more to celebrate in the future.

You deserve it. You are really something. You are the kind of person that makes me love the internet. :-)

I still have that wood paneling in my home here in Atlanta. LOL. Yes I hate it but don't have the money to replace it.

Belated happy birthday -- you are 33 days older than me, and I guess that's one of the reasons I relate so much to the things you write about.

Happy 35th, my dear. Your Mom's comment made my day.
You're not old- now go out and do something fun and silly to prove it.

Hi...just wanted to say hi and belated HB.
I have taken photos like this to Walmart...I have scanned them, boosted the color, and it has had AMAZXING results. Just wanted to suggest...I know other people can do this on their home computers..but me..yah..not so much.
If you only have a FEW baby pictures of yourself..you can ZOOM in on some..and make yourself some good copies..!!THIS would be a GREAT Xmas card for you this year!
